In class we were challenged to complete some tasks throughout the week. Here’s what I did:

Watch 3 factual programs, explain the story in 1 sentence

Celebrities learn how to dance while competing to win the glitter ball trophy- strictly come dancing.

People interact though an online system where they can either be themselves or pretend to be someone else in a competition to be the most popular and win £100,000- The circle.

A baking competition where each week someone becomes star baker and someone goes home and the aim is to stay in the competition until the end and win- The great British bake-off.

Give someone public credit for something

My housemate cooked me dinner and I told her it was very nice.

Research anniversaries coming up in the next 5 years

• January 2020- 10 years since Haiti earthquake.
• January 2020- 10 years since Avatar became the first film to gross over $2 billion worldwide.
• Febuary 2020- 85 years since Monopoly was invented.
• Febuary 2020- 55 years since Malcolm X was assassinated.
• April 2020- 50 years since Apollo 13 was launched.
• July 2020- Olympics in Tokyo.
• Febuary 2021- 50 years since astronauts land on the moon in the Apollo 14 mission.
• April 2021- 10 years since Prince William and Kate Middleton got married.
