The career path I would like to take after university is teaching. Ideally I would become a lecturer. I’ve always loved education and I would love to be part of someone else’s educational experience one day. I think teachers/ lecturers are very inspiring as they mould the minds of future generations. They tend to play a big part in helping students get on the right path for what they aspire to do in life.

What I like about the career:

• No two days are the same

• Summer holidays
• Can make a difference
• Creatively share passions & knowledge
• Room for professional growth

What I dislike about the career:

• Lots of paper work/ marking
• Having to deal with lazy/ un-cooperative students
• Can’t make you very wealthy
• Could be stressful
• Requires time outside of school hours
